Painting Work Day
It's all hands on deck to paint the kids classrooms to make them spaces that are welcoming to kids and families. Saturday, May 18 from 9a-4pm. Whether you're available for 1 hour or the entire day, we can use your help. Lunch will be provided.
We’ll provide all the painting supplies - just bring yourself and your energy!
Let us know you’re coming (so we have enough food for lunch :)) via the Sign Up Genius.
Baptism Service
Are you looking to take the next step in your walk of faith and be baptized? Sign up for our baptisms happening on Sunday, May 19. After filling out the sign up form, a pastor will reach out to you with more information and to talk through this with you.
We’ll also have a special celebration after both services for those who make this decision to be immersed in the waters of baptism.
What Christians Ought to Believe
Join us for What Christians Ought to Believe on Sunday mornings during the 10:45am service, starting April 14.
Modern Christianity is often more known for its differences of practice and persuasion than what we share in common. But what is it that connects you to a Christian who lived 2,000, 1,900, or 1,800 years ago? What is the essential core of Christianity? In this course, we'll use the Apostles' Creed as an entryway to explore and understand the essential teachings and beliefs of the Christian faith across time and place, delineating what Christians ought to affirm about God, Jesus, the church, and the life to come.
Register HERE. Note: there is a $10 materials fee for this course. Any questions? Reach out to Dave Bahbah, david@newstorychurch.life
Stay & Play
Families, stay and play after church ends on the playground & in the back field! Kids can play together while parents connect. Bring your lunch. Please note, this event is weather contingent.
Contact Betsey with any questions.

MOPS
Held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9:15-11:30am.
MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.
Join us on the second Wednesday of every month for encouragement, breakfast, and quality conversation! We may watch a brief video or have a local speaker join our group before entering table discussion time. We may even work on a craft together some months!
Seasoned moms, known as MOPS Mentor Moms, are important members of our MOPS community! They join us at monthly meetings to pray for you, encourage you, listen to you, and facilitate table discussions. MOPS Mentor Moms are your biggest cheerleaders!
Moppets will have their own time together while the moms meet! Infants (newbies can be brought into meetings, this is MOPS after all!) through Kindergarteners are invited to join Moppets, hosted by loving New Story Church volunteers, in our Sunday School classrooms.
Register HERE and enter the code ELTA to join New Story's MOPS group. International MOPS annual dues are $35 and can be paid online after entering our unique group code. Local annual dues are $50 and can be paid after you attend your first meeting at New Story MOPS.
