The Sunday evening forum is designed with you in mind if:
You identify as LGBTQ+ or are close to someone who does.
You grew up in church and are trying to figure out what to do with that history.
You’re a parent, relative, or friend and you just don’t want to hurt the people you love.
You’re curious (or skeptical) about how Christians think about gender and sexuality.
What the evening looks like:
A short, accessible talk from Dr. Yarhouse on how Christians can think about gender and sexual identity in a way that takes both Scripture and real people seriously.
Open Q&A, with options to submit questions anonymously or ask them in person.
You don’t have to agree with us to attend. You don’t have to be “on a journey” to change your mind.
We simply want to offer a space where:
Christians can be honest about what we believe,
LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones can be honest about what they’ve lived,
and everyone is treated like a person, not a category.
No childcare will be offered for this event. The content is aimed at adults and older teens.
